The Medisure commercial insurance package is designed
exclusively for medical practitioners, dentists and associated professionals to take the guess work out of arranging insurance for professional rooms or surgeries.

The package can include cover for:
- Loss or damage to property for building and/or contents
- Burglary and/or theft of stock, including drugs and contents
- Loss of clothing and tools of trade belonging to directors, partners, principals and employees
- Breakage of glass
- Breakdown of machinery, airconditioning and/or refrigeration equipment, including subsequent deterioration of goods
- Loss of money on premises, at private residences or in transit
- Property in transit and items temporarily removed from premises
- Breakdown of electronic and computer equipment, including reinstatement of data following computer breakdown
- Loss of doctor's black bag anywhere in Australia
- General public and product liability to $10 million (with an option to increase to $20,000,000 if required)
- Loss from fraud or dishonesty by employees
- Consequential loss following loss or damage to premises
- Tax Investigation costs if subject to an ATO Audit
The Medisure Commercial Insurance Package does not include Workers Compensation insurance or Medical Malpractice or Professional Indemnity insurance. These are required to be arranged separately.
We understand that different professional rooms and surgeries have different needs and values. So we offer three levels of cover to members, each with its own premium rating structure. The levels are based on the value of buildings or contents including stock and gross turnover amounts.
To make it easier for you to apply for the Medisure commercial insurance package, no proposal form is required. You just need to supply standard information such as:
- Estimated replacement value of the building
- Value of the contents owned
- Estimated annual gross turnover/revenue/rental
- Details of claims history for the past five years
