Roles at Marsh include:
Assistant Account Executives who provide support to Account Executives in all aspects of client servicing, including administration, technical support and business development. Requiring strong administrative, numeracy and analytical skills, this is the first step in developing a career in insurance broking.
Account Executives work with clients to develop, implement and maintain risk management and insurance programs that meet the client's needs. They implement renewal and broking strategies and further develop new business.
Senior Account Executives manage client service teams and provide insurance broking and risk management products, services and advice to a portfolio of clients.
Principals and Managing Principals manage portfolios of key accounts and build strong business partnerships with our clients, anticipating and meeting their insurance and risk management needs and providing them with total solutions. Leading teams of Senior Account Executives, Account Executives and Assistant Account Executives, they actively contribute towards the success of their practices.
Consultants interact directly with clients on projects, collect and analyse information to ensure that the assignment outcome accurately responds to the original specifications and meets the client's needs.
Senior Consultants develop comprehensive risk management approaches for our Risk Consulting clients, identify other activities in their businesses that could pose a risk and recommend solutions. Working as part of a team, they are responsible for managing specific projects, coordinating their colleagues on assignments and managing the client relationship.
Principal Consultants are responsible for identifying prospects in the market and creating sales opportunities in our Risk Consulting practice. Providing a holistic solution for our clients, they may need to draw on other areas of knowledge and expertise available within the MMC group. Principal Consultants provide the technical input on assignments and are also responsible for managing their practices and developing their staff, ensuring that we provide a professional service to our clients.
Customer Service Consultants in our Service Centres provide advice, information and support to customers about a range of insurance products. With a strong customer service orientation, our consultants are involved in all facets of the customer relationship, from handling queries to managing claims.
Business Development Specialists undertake research of the market, identify prospective clients and opportunities and develop an insurance product/service offering which meets their needs. They need strong analytical and client service skills to build strong business relationships with our clients.
