Marsh named Broker of the Year

Marsh (Australia and New Zealand) has been named Large Broker of the Year by the Australia and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF), for the second year running.

John Clayton, Pacific Region Head at Marsh, said "the victory is a wonderful achievement and a reflection of Marsh's capabilities and the dedication and talent of its people".

A panel of judges ranked a number of submissions against several strict criteria, including:

• In-depth knowledge and understanding of the market through research
• Responsiveness to customer needs
• Innovation
• Industry leadership
• Business retention and growth
• Sound financial management
• Outstanding customer service and resulting business referrals
• Professional standards (including a focus on staff training and development)
• A demonstrated effort to improve the image of the industry
